According to our translational research model, the Mental Health Translational Research Network Hamburg (MH-TRN) has defined 4 research domains (basic, clinical, health services research and involvement) that we represent on-site. With a specific focus on serious mental illness, 10 core research areas have been identified. These constitute the research excellence of MH-TRN over the past two decades as well as ongoing and future projects. In the following, we have summarized each of the research areas. 

We are a growing network founded with the aim to to bridge research ‘from bench to bedside’. This is facilitated by short communication ways and a highly collaborative and open atmosphere.
